COVID-19 Small Business Emergency 0% Intersest Loan
A second phase of the Community and Culture Relief Loan Program is available thanks to the $250,000 Caesars Foundation grant. All eligible businesses must be locally owned and operated in Floyd County, have a physical location outside of the home and be in the food service, retail, salon/spa services or entertainment venues. Established by Parx Casino, this scholarship provides financial assistance to active-duty service personnel and honorably discharged veterans of the United States armed forces and/or their spouses and dependents who are currently enrolled or intend to enroll at Bucks County Community College. To date, Parx Casino ® has awarded over $92,000 in college scholarship money to local high school students. In addition to the local high school recipients, Parx Casino ® awards two scholarships exclusively for children applicants of Parx team members. The Meskwaki Tribe will be recognizing high school graduates as part of a new scholarship program being run out of its gaming facility in Iowa. The Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel Scholarship Program will award four scholarships to students who are going on to four-year or two-year higher education institution.
Loan applications and related documents are being accepted now, with the deadline for requests being 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Loan amounts up to $25,000 will be considered.
The Caesars Foundation of Floyd County (CFFC) is a private foundation, created to benefit the Floyd County community. The Foundation's philanthropic focus traditionally falls into the categories of grant making to charitable non-profit organizations, educational scholarships, and program related investments which encourage economic development.
Caesars Southern Indiana is the sole contributor of funds to the Foundation. It is with much gratitude that we acknowledge their philanthropy to the Foundation.

- Scholarships to 2019 Des Plaines college bound students. This is the seventh year the Foundation has offered scholarships. According to Rosemary Argus, executive director of the Foundation, the annual scholarships are available for both two-year and four-year college students starting school in 2019.
- Chair of the Parx Scholarship Committee which awards 10 scholarships annually to high school seniors from over 50+ applicants. Plan and schedule the annual company picnic with over 1,500 attendees.
Dolly Parton Imagination Library: The Caesars Foundation is proud to be a partner with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Floyd County. The Dolly Parton Imagination library provides free books to children ages 0 to 5 years old.

The Bonanza Casino is committed to serving our community and is proud to support the students and educators of North Valleys High School. A “Partners in Education” sponsor since the school opened its doors in 2001, we take pride in teaming up with NVHS to provide scholarship opportunities, donations, educational seminars, internships, job mentor/shadowing and other work training programs.
Each school year the Bonanza Casino awards two $1,000 scholarships to students from North Valleys High School to help ease the burden of the cost of higher education.
North Valleys High School students in turn give back to the casino by having their choir perform at several of the casino’s employee functions, helping to decorate the casino for the holidays and by doing a “spring cleaning” of the property.
“The relationship between the school and the casino is more than we could have dreamed of. It really is an example of what can happen, what should happen when you invest time and effort in building a relationship with the community.” says Ryan Sheltra, General Manager of the Bonanza Casino.
