Sue-Ellen Hogg is the Head of Discipline for Speech Pathology. She brings 17 years’ experience in speech pathology, working across a variety of acute, subacute and community settings. Sue-Ellen is passionate about improving services for patients and their families and has extensive experience leading both speech pathology and multidisciplinary services within the ISLHD and other Health Districts.

The speech pathology team provide services for children and adults with communication and/or swallowing/feeding difficulties across the lifespan. Services are provided in hospitals, community health centres and in the home environment. Sue-Ellen also provides leadership and governance for the ISLHD Audiology services. The audiology team provide hearing services to adults and children across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.

Our Speech Pathologists help children with a range of swallowing and communication difficulties including feeding, language, speech, voice, and fluency.Speech

We also provide management of children at risk of future speech or language problems and children that have undergone cleft palate surgery.
