- »Tony Dunst Wins Second Gold WSOP Bracelet
Tony “Panoramic” Dunst spends more time commentating on poker than playing these days. He still has what it takes to rub shoulders with the best poker players on the planet, as is evident by him winning his second WSOP bracelet.
Dunst was one of 849 unique players in the $777 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed event. They purchased 512 rebuys between them for a total crowd of 1,361. This led to a $952,700 prize pool that the top 206 finishers shared.
Dunst is a commentator for the WPT but still finds himself on the correct side of a poker table occasionally. He won his first bracelet in 2016, topping the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event for $339,254. Bracelet number two almost happened at the 2019 WSOP, but he ultimately finished second in a $5,000 buy-in NLHE tournament.
Some huge names reached the money places in this $777 buy-in event at WSOP.com. Jamie Kerstetter, Phil Hellmuth, Ryan Leplante, and Jason Somerville cashed. As did Ryan Riess, Ari Engel, and Daniel Negreanu.
Dunst Wrecks Final Table
Each of the six finalists locked up $26,199. Jon “havuuuuuc” Turner collected this sum Dunst opened to 300,000 and Turner jammed for 462,593 in total. Dunst called and showed Kd-Jd which beat Turner’s Ac-9d courtesy of a jack on the flop.
Krista “Pollux” Gifford pushed her 7.5 big blind short stack into the middle with Kc-Th. Dunst called with Kd-Ks and the cowboys held to reduce the player count by one.

The final four became three when “ilosestackz” actually lost their stack. They pushed all-in for 13 big blinds with Jd-8c and “paymycollege” called with As-Tc. An ace on the flop was more than enough to send ilosestackz to the rail albeit with $50,779 in tow.
Third-place and the final five-figure score of the event went to Alec “Tango_Bravo” Parslow. Dunst was again the executioner. The blinds were 80,000/160,000/20,000a and Parslow raised to 350,000 from the small blind. Dunst three-bet all-in for 8,980,887 and Parlow called off his remaining 4,168,865 chips.

It was As-9h for Dunst and the dominating Ad-Kd for Parslow. Parslow looked set to double up but the board ran 5s-7d-Ts-8h-Jd gifting Dunst a straight.
That hand left Dunst enjoying a 13,209,752 to 7,205,248 lead over paymycollege. It didn’t take long to settle the tournament. Paymycollege limped from the button and Dunst checked. Both players looked on as the flop fell 5s-7s-4d. Dunst tested the waters with a 200,000 bet and was called. The 3s turn saw Dunst check-raise his opponent’s 425,000 bet to 1,600,000. paymycollge called again.

The Qh completed the community cards. Dunst led for 3,200,000 and called when paymycollege raised all-in for 8,240,248. Dunst showed Js-8s for a flush, much stronger than the Qs-6c of paymycollege.
